About Lady or Not…Here I Come

Lady or Not…Here I Come recognizes excellence in blogging with the presentation of their much coveted Best Blog in the Universe award (the hallowed BBEU).  This award holds the greatest of honors as it only goes out to one blogger a year.  When the writers of Ladyornot.com put their heads together, they had no doubt as to which blog should receive the award.  We are now prepared to announce the winner.

(Drum roll please)

The winner of the prestigious Lady or Not Best Blog In the Entire Universe award is…..Lady or Not…Here I Come!  This blog won the award for being crazy-funny, sweet, and fabulous. After we have finished reading the blog posts, we laugh throughout the day, remembering them. The bloggers on LadyorNot.com help the poor by giving away Becca’s holy underwear, which we are still trying to figure out, as often she doesn’t wear any. They help the hungry by letting them lick their plates. Often they help the rich get richer. One of the writers, we are pretty sure, is an environmentalist because he threw a bottled water in the recycling bin, once. They are avid readers of fantastic literature like Fifty Shades of Grey.  And let’s not forget that Becca , the owner of the site,  is a wonderful mom who has educated her kids in the fine art of pouring her a tall glass of Southern Comfort. Ladyornot.com has become the place to go for advice and learning how to live an ethical life.

  1. Thanks for dropping by…a couple of funny stories on your site…falling asleep with my iPad…could take out one my Chihuahua or spaniel mix…or the pitbull cross..she’s such a big baby..take care.

    • Thank you for commenting. I will keep up with your posts. :) Look forward to sharing more blogs with each other. I have two dogs too, they are a mess. Take care.

  2. They give awards out for blogs? Does that mean cash money? Or just a bumper sticker I’ll never be able to peel off my vehicle? Thanks for checking out Fried Neck Bones…and Some Home Fries. And congratulations on the awards.

  3. HiRebecca,

Thanks for stopping by and liking my post. Your site is hysterical and so entertaining! I love your sense of humor. Definitely worth visiting again!

  4. Oh, I always do. Ask my husband.
Would further like to comment that your blog proves that there just may be intelligent life on the other side of the Atlantic. (See reference to American intellect, etc., in previous posts.)
I shall be popping in from time to time to ensure that your housekeeping standards remain above par.
P.S. Admittedly, I have not read the entire blogulation, but you wouldn’t happen to be a crazy pageant mom, would you? I have always wanted to meet one, especially since [insert extreme sarcasm] Toddlers ‘n Tiara’s is my most favouritest, loveliest show in the entire universe.
Off to floss … caio, caio.

    • LOL No pageant mom. ewww honey boo boo…gag. Well this American loves to go to Europe so you must have rubbed off on my intellect. ;) Thanks for stopping over. Hope to see you soon.

  5. Oh my goodness…You are so beautiful! especially with the dot in the nose!!!… As i see you blushing! LOL.
You did.. conquest of my heart (with your beauty) :). I joking..Don’t worry I’m a depressed suburban man in a mid-life crisis, who decides to turn

his hectic life around you. ;)

I glad to meet you and of course I’m very happy for visiting by my blog.

  6. Hi mate – love your site and energy. I was only saying a couple of hours ago how many people seem to be in a daze or half asleep. It’s nice to connect with someone quite the opposite. Thanks for looking at my post, and I look forward to chatting and sharing a laugh. Regards, Dave

    • Thank you for enjoying the Julie. I am guessing you’re the one the just found my facebook page? I am happy to have you here with us. I hope I can continue to make you laugh.

  7. Thanks for reading and responding to Soliloquy. Your website is attention-getting, to say the least. While I’ve taken them down off my blog, I have a collection of my short stories coming out on Amazon soon entitled Through the Glass Darkly. Humor, satire, the bizarre and some what I call “country horror” are part of the fare. As soon as it’s ready, I’ll announce it on my blog. Is that enough spit? As we say in the bar, “Ptoohey!”

  8. Just stopping by to thank you for your recent like on Shift Key. Slowly reading through your huge site; it will take a while… Don’t miss your chance to market Beccacola; they missed on Prozacola…

  9. Hi Rebecca…….thanks for stopping by “Unwalled” and liking my post “Unexplainable Season? – It May Just Be The Potter’s Hand”………blessings to you!……..Kim

  10. Thanks for visiting my site Becca and liking one of my posts….I typically thinks its good etiquette to check out anyone elses blog who likes something I have done…so here I am….and I am glad to say you my dear you interest me…you have intrigued me…I like your smile….your chest…omg that chest…and most importantly what you have to say….that sly wit of yours and your frankness…I’ve got my eyes on you…I’m following you now…..(don’t worry I am keeping at a safe distance)..cya

  11. Congratulations again, Rebecca!

You have just received the So Sweet Blogger Award for being so AWESOME!

Please check out my blog for details, post the award on your sidebar and spread the love to some of your favorite bloggers!

  12. I’m not sure if I get this blog, but the title is really clever. I count at least 4 different hidden meanings:

    Lady or ready?
    Come or cum?
    Most ladies can’t physically ejaculate.
A proper “lady” does not physically ejaculate.

      • I have two questions. Are you heterosexual, and would you ever attend an event like the Masturbate-A-Thon group masturbation event in San Francisco?

I’m not asking you to go. It’s a hypothetical question to better understand your personality. Given the overtly sexual name of your blog, I don’t think it’s inappropriate.

          • The top of the page I’m typing this comment into contains the word “ejaculations”. To suggest that you did not mean “cum”, you are either being silly or being dishonest.

But you answered my question. You are a tease like most women. You talk about sex, but you have no interest in it.

I might suggest simply not talking about sex in the first place. I personally only ever talk about sex on my own blog in order to condemn it. There are simpler and more peaceful (and pure) ways of living.

            • Bless your heart you’re adorable. The word ejaculating came from a classic book wuthering heights. Ever read it, it is a classic. Yes this blog has many layers to everything I write or others write. How wonderful of you to notice. As for interest in sex, you might take that up with my husband. mwah :)

  13. Well, now after having seen your award photo, my tongue really “is” in my cheek…. god! will I ever see it again?!! : D !

( … thanks for stopping by my blog, your dizziness… )

  14. Thanks for stopping by and “liking” my posts. I just got off work and reading your posts was a great end to the workday! I needed a laugh and you served it up:-) For that alone, I am grateful. :-)

  15. hilariously twisty… just woke up and read notification on my phone, some becca girl liked my post. and iust thought, “wha? who is this?” reading this post… it was funny and unfortunately… good. lol.

waiting to see more of you. thanks for stoping by mine.

  16. Thanks for stopping by an liking my blog. I’m going to visit yours often as I’m sure it’ll be the tonic I need when my brain hits the proverbial brick writers wall. As a newbie author of Love in the Vines, I’m sure my head is going to hurt.

  17. Thanks for liking my blog.

I wonder what you liked about it. It seems well removed from your topics.. What did you like about it?

Please consider making you background colour somewhat different so that Postings become easier to read

  18. LOL..well, thanks for visiting and liking Ivegotconfidence! Hope it was a blessing to you. Your blog is…..well, interesting and I give you kudos for taking on such a fun task. I wish you well. Hope you’ll stop back by again in future weeks to check out some of the rest of Ivegotconfidence. I’m new to the blogging world so I’m open for tips and suggestions to make it better. Let me know if you have some you’d like to extend my way! God bless!

  19. Thanks so much for visiting my blog and liking “Dreams..”. Both are much appreciated. You have a very interesting blog here! Fun. Please stop by my blog again soon. Robyn

  20. Sup Girl????? Post is lookin Awsome as always. Even though I was out of it for a few day’s, I did not miss a post. I will post something in a few days or sooner. Or ?

  21. I sure love good humour! To me it’s verbal convention rather than ejaculation . . . the former is renewable with age but not so with the latter.

  22. I came by to thank you for liking my recent post on my blog…BUT, I have found myself all caught up in the WONDERFULL-NESS that is your blog! I’m still reading and enjoying every minute of it! Thanks again for showing me some love and stop by my blog anytime!

  23. Hey there – crazy blog – I like it :) And oh yeah, thanks for liking my blog showing my puppy – she’s been thrilled at tall the likes her pic has garnered! Keep up the funnies – I’m stalking you ;) [who’d a thunk you can get away with stalking ppl just by following their blog!!)

  24. Thanks for the comment on the Silhouette image on the old Strange Trip Times blog. I dumped that one in favour of coming back. and glad I did. I stumbled across yours and you, mine. Love that cosmic synchronicity. Can’t wait to read more!

  25. Thank you for stopping by our blog and liking my post. I bow to a woman who has a great sense of humor, has her own ideas and opinions and is not afraid or ashamed to speak up. It’s refreshing!
    Take care,

  26. Pingback: Racing towards 3000 hits. « rosfromscratch

    • LOL well sorta. You need to read my post stupid mistakes. I screw up a ton, but at least I hit spell check ;). That is what I always wonder about. In this day in age, with spell check at our fingertips, why not just hit the button?

  27. A deluge of ecstatic thanks for your likes. The barrage of innuendo is amazing, funny and makes this mid-west dweller hesitate to spit it out. However it’s not that HARD to get on-board and manifest a scream of delight. All the best to you!

  28. Thanks a bunch for the like. You should also follow. We can trade artistic devilry and mischief. I think it’ll be an interesting and fun time, with an entertaining and gloomy end. Because of my novel. Not because I somehow found a box of rabid cats wearing clown hats.

    • Oh I am following you. Well I followed you right before I read this ;) We could have fun but if you don’t come with the rabi cats wearing clown hats…I might should reconsider. You’re no fun at all.

      • I can promise cats and clown hats, but I can only almost-promise the rabies. At least until I find the proper animal hospital to raid.

I’m still learning the ropes of WordPress, so I didn’t know that the glowing orange box in the corner meant that I got a new message, hence my late reply. However, everything’s tip-top now. I even managed to add a new trippy background I made.

Well. I hope your week’s ending splendidly. And remember, next Tuesday: vote donuts.

    • thanks so much Bri. Your kind words are what help make what I do feel worth the time an energy. Often people wonder why I do this. I am not paid, I don’t make money, but to make people laugh and lighten their day is magical. ((hugs))

  29. You know this, but you are very funny. I feel bad that my first comment included my appreciation for your rack, but I felt it would have been far less sensitive to see it and not compliment it. LOL.

  30. I didn’t know where to write. I wanted to tell you thank you for the support you give to my blog. you’re constant and that’s super nice. with the readership you have, it’s cool of you to take the time. Much success. TY!!

  31. Thanks for liking my post about . . . garden chores? I thought for sure you would have liked my Twelve Shades of Green post better. Anyway, fun blog, keep racking up the great posts!

  32. Thank you for checking out my blog post. Quite frankly I was a little hesitant to check yours – at first. I had no idea what to expect and feared the worst. For the most part, I’m liberal on the inside (beliefs, thoughts, etc.) but somewhat conservative on the outside (behavior). I’m so glad I did read it though. I’m still chuckling and probably will be all day. I’ve already thought of several friends (those with a true sense of humor) that I’m sure would enjoy it too – so I’ll be sending them personal e-mails.

  33. Dear Becca. I don’t know how to write directly to you, so “walla,” as the saying goes, here’s an e-mail in the shape of a comment. Thank you for liking my humble posts at montaigbakhtinian.com. What I would like above all is for you to write me, all of us, some more of your own comedy, which I have quite enjoyed. Meanwhile, to keep laughing, I have been enjoying the El Bloombito Twitter feature, though perhaps it is best for New Yorkers. (http://twitter.com/ElBloombito). Best, Wm.

  34. Hi again. thanks again for liking another one of my posts, I have had a look through your blog and read some stuff, but don’t have much in the way of comments, I cannot find a like button (yeah I know this isn’t farcebook :)) on your site and because I look at these mainly at work, I have to be careful how much time I spend on blog sites.

  35. hey the link on face book didn’t work, but i will find it, also if you out and about pllllllllllllllllllllzzzzzzzzzzzzz click like on my face book it is new, Remember and don’t forget!! you got roaches, you got fleas, will you marry me,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, i thought that up twisted mind i got LOL

  36. Hey Rebecca,
Thanks very much for liking my wine and restaurant related posts: much appreciated.
You’re super funny and, as you know, Francesca just adores you :-)
    Take care

    • Aww thanks. Sure I will comment. I try to comment as much as possible. Sometimes though, when short on time I hit like because it says I was hear and read and laughed or agreed etc and want to show support. ((hugs))

  37. There is no ‘LIKE’ button, so unfortunately I can’t reply the complimentary likes you’ve been so kindly delivering to me. Nevertheless, thank you very much. I do like you blog by the way ;)

  38. Thank you so much for supporting me in my NaNoWriMo monstrosity, and for not abandoning me afterward and actually clicking on my new link. :) Your blog is awesome! I’ll be back.

  39. I almost lost my teeth on that comment. LOL It’s a good thing they aren’t false.
Maybe you can share some blogging tips that will help
get my readership up. Would appreciate that very much. Feel free to e-mail me privately. I think you can see my address, can’t you? Deb

  40. Thanks for stopping by TEDWORDSblog.com, Becca. I love that the blog-i-verse tides bring folks like you to me so I can then drift on by your shores. I look forward to lapping up more of your stuff. Blog posts, I mean.

    • Thanks Ted. I enjoyed your post. I like to see studies on effects on children. I personally don’t hit and try very hard not to yell but be a firm and steady disciplinarian. I find that if people go to far one direction or the other in new age techniques or corporal punishment, neither is truly effective.

You know there was a study done years ago of children in juvie. They found that kids who were from overly strict homes were equal to kids who were neglected, in the system. This is because extremes can be dangerous no matter what subject is at hand.

  41. Hi Becca,

Thank you for liking my “R-E-S-P-E-C-T” post on the arnnarn.com blog. Sorry it’s taken so long in responding but now that the book is out, I’m only just catching up on other responsibilities. Hope all is well and keep up the good work.

  42. This time I set the computer on scroll, washed 2 cars, 2 dogs and 1 cat, and came back and the computers was just reaching the bottom of your comments section and I STILL CAN”T FIND YOUR LIKE BUTTON! LIKE LIKE LIKE LIKE LIKE!

  43. I really do love “nutty” women…that’s scottish for very funny…good stuff..more,more,more…my wife loves your way of thinking, z @zynkin

  44. Congratulations on your very well deserved award. Did last year’s winner really leave the tiara on your head or was there super glue on her fingers?

  45. Thanks for swinging by and dropping me a like! You sound like a ballsy, brazen girl, not unlike myself and some of my favorite bloggers. We should get all of us into a room one day and film the fallout. We could be zillionaires. :)

  46. How in the world you get 400+ replies is a monumental achievement. I’ve been posting daily absurd humor for almost all of 2012 and I think I have 80 comments. All hail the queen!!

  47. Hey, Beetleypete recommended that I came over here and checked out your blog – I’m hooked already :) where is your follow button? I’m going to subscribe via email for now but if you could point out where i can find it that would be great, thanks

    • Thanks so much. I don’t have a regular follow button because I am wordpress.org not wordpress.com. It is annoying I know. So I can follow you the regular way, but you can’t follow me the regular way.

    • Thanks for your kind words. I am sorry it is difficult for you to read. I tried out several and this was the best for the majority. I am not sure how to make things easier for everyone.

  48. Hi, Rebecca! Thank you for liking my blog post on Elightenment in Every Day, I greatly appreciate it, especially seeing how accomplished you are! I’ve sampled some of your post, and now must follow…you’re a hoot!

  49. Thanks for stopping by again. I have sad news for you about the avocado transplants: three of four already bit the dust (but only after releasing dozens of flies into the house — they hatched from the compost!). But there’s still one left. Anyway, I’m glad to have a chance to see what’s up around your villa.

  50. Hi. Thank you for visiting my blog today and clicking on the Like button to my most recent post. Your blog is interesting, fun and naughty. Keep up the good work you’re doing here. Cheers!

    P.S. – Congratulations on your awards. :)

  51. hey…thank you for having checked out my blog..would really appreciate some feedback..if possible.really loved your site…love the colors!.really spicy and congrats on your award… thanks once again!

    • Yes, I checked it out. I noticed you didn’t have an about me page. That would be the first idea I have for you. Thanks for stopping by. I hope you subscribe and keep reading.

  52. For some reason comments aren’t popping up for me on your most recent blog posts. What is it with your blog and me always having issues? Ugh.

I wanted to comment on your most recent post about your stick figure boobs and say how lovely they looked.

  53. Love your blog- great fun.I’m laughing as I write this. I’ll be reading more. Life is a bit of a disaster- you actually put a smile on my face- Thank you for that!

  54. Hi
Every time i visit your site i do want to spit! It makes mine look so sad! This is the site I pretend I see every time i click onto my boring one. I have not seen any other site that is so identifiable with a personality.
Well done you. And of course thank you for giving me an audience. much appreciated.

  55. Thanks for liking my poem! You’re too funny. I don’t mean you’re too funny, like maybe too much salt or too much sugar… just too funny, you know, in a good way. I think.

  56. Hi,
I am pleased you visited and liked my blog….as now I am giving a look at yours… truly interesting, compliments! In the hope you will be back to read my posts, meanwhile feel free to contact me for everything, thanks and hugs,

  57. Hi, I’d like to nominate your blog for the Liebster Award. I find your blog consistently engaging, but most importantly you have made me feel welcome in the blog community from the beginning. Please let me know if this okay. I’m sure you are tired of such nominations ;-)

  58. I respectfully disagree with the judges’ decision on the BBEU. However, I emphatically agree that ladyornot should get the MUAW* award given only once every blue moon to the most MUAWsome blog.

    * – Most Unique Awesome and Witty. Most people pronounce it “Mwah!”

  59. This blog is a hoot-n-a-half, girl. . .I really enjoyed the hour I spent reading it. . .BTW, thanks for the “Like” on Walking the Cat. . . .

    • Thank you. Yes I am honored by the amount of people that have taken the time to comment. I feel very loved. Thanks so much for stopping by. I look forward seeing you around more. :)

  60. Thanks for the liking over at my place, Becca!

I see you have some risque material here, but I’m OK. I didn’t actually read anything, I just peeked between my fingers.

  61. Hello There,

Thanks for Stopping by my Blog, and liking the Quotes I Post
Keep up the Great work that you have posted on your site.

    Warm regards,

  62. Much like the lovely blogger who nominated me, I generally don’t participate in these awards things. (I know, I know, EVERYONE says that), but I thought the WordPress Family Award was actually pretty special, decided to spread the love, and nominated you. Stop by my latest post accepting the award for details if you’re interested (http://wp.me/pwIUF-5B )…I promise I won’t be offended if you’re not though. I know a lot of people don’t do these things. Cheers!

    • Hey Devon. I am honored that you picked me. I think these things are wonderful, but I don’t do it because I get so many (at least one a day) that if I do them, I wouldn’t be able to actually write. That said, they still mean that someone thought about me and cared. So for that, I am sooo very thankful. ((Hugs))

  63. I mentioned Lady-or-Not in my recent blog post. You’ve gotten a few Liebster ‘awards’ but I just wanted to give credit where it’s due.

Thanks for making the web a more ladylike place. ;)

When I saw the word “bawdy”, I knew I was going to find a witty and enjoyable blog, and yours even surpassed what I expected! Excellent writing, and a great sense of humor!

    Much success!

  66. I just hate it that Google crowded out all my WordPress subscriptions, including yours and mine!, for Google Plus! Anyway, tah tah DAH!!! you’ve been nonimated for a SUNSHINE AWARD. I promise I won’t put anything over it, on my blog, until tomorrow. Quickly—go and see it!!!!!

  68. Hi Rebecca, I love your blog so much! I have enjoyed reading your blog ever since I started blogging. You make me smile and laugh! You are such a beautiful human being and woman and don’t ever change who you are. Thanks, again for reading my blog post. It is very much appreciated!

Oh you know you want to give verbal ejaculation a try. Spit it out!
